Zac Brown Band has been given the honor of having the song that will play non-stop during the March Madness NCAA Basketball Tournament. It was announced this week that the band's "Give It Away" has been tapped as the official theme for the tourney. "Give It Away" was released last year as part of the "Love & Fear" album. The Zac Brown Band joins Lady Gaga, The Heavy, The Weeknd, and others who have had their music woven throughout the weeks-long broadcast. The tournament kicks off March 17th and culminates in the Final Four April 4th, 5th, and 6th, and will be broadcast on CBS and TNT.
CMA Fest is the center of the country universe every June, and this year will be no exception. While the entire festival will be awash in live music, the focal point will be Nissan Stadium, and the lineup for the venue was announced yesterday. Old school, new school and everything in between will be represented, with performances by Ella Langley, Zach Top, Cody Johnson, Tucker Wetmore, Shaboozey, Stephen Wilson Jr., the Red Clay Strays, Tim McGraw, Keith Urban, Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Deana Carter, Riley Green, Bailey Zimmerman, Carly Pearce, Gretchen Wilson, Jordan Davis, Hardy, Russell Dickerson and The Band Perry. More names are expected to be added in the coming months. CMA Fest takes over Nashville June 4th-7th. Four-night stadium passes are now on sale at CMAfest.com/tickets.
