There's a new docuseries made by country musicians about country musicians...a very specific group of country musicians. "They Called Us Outlaws" will premiere at SXSW in Austin, Texas on March 15th. The ten part series was produced by country legends Jessi Colter and Ray Benson, along with Jack Ingram and Willie Nelson biographer Joe Nick Patoski. The docuseries contains interviews and performances with over 100 country artists and personalities, including Kris Kristofferson, Miranda Lambert, Eric Church, Tyler Childers, Billy Joe Shaver, The Flatlanders, Robert Earl Keen, Kix Brooks, Ronnie Dunn, Parker McCollum, Ashley McBryde, Turnpike Troubadours and dozens more. Actor Ashton Kutcher is jumping into the world of music. In a recent interview, the star was asked about having a "healthy obsession" and he responded by revealing that he's currently working on writing a country music album. Kutcher admitted that he's "not a very good singer," but that isn't stopping him from pursuing his dream. He said he's always wanted to write a country music album and he's "obsessed with getting that done." The actor didn't reveal when fans could expect his debut album.
