Monday was Dolly Parton's 80th birthday. While she has been taking time off for the last several months over health issues, she did want to assure everyone that she was still alive and kicking. She posted a series of birthday pics, showing her looking great as she poses with a large butterfly-shaped 80th birthday cake. Fans were quick to wish her the best on her big day in the comments, but one fan sent a video message. Keith Urban has been a fan of Dolly's since before he even came to the States, often performing her songs when he was just starting out. In the video, Keith starts by playing an audio clip of him, at the age of ten, performing her song "Applejack." After, he thanks her for everything she's done. "So, I'm just here to say you've been a massive inspiration to me for a long time, Dolly. And…God, thank you. Thank you for everything that you've ever done musically, humanly, with your soul and your heart and your spirit. The songs you've written, the people you've helped, the artists you've inspired, the people you've inspired, just the goodness that you've brought into the world..." See Keith's video below...
LeAnn Rimes is going all out in the pursuit of body wellness. Over the weekend, she posted a video to Instagram where she explains she's been going to a clinic in Nashville for "plasma exchanges." As she tells it, the procedure is to "help clear micro-toxins, such as mold and microplastics" from her blood, and in her most recent visit, she "added stem cells to encourage overall repair." Alongside the video of her driving to the clinic and undergoing the process, she wrote, "I demand so much from my body and it's incredibly important to me to take the best care of it I possibly can."
