DC Studios dropped the first trailer for “Supergirl,” giving fans a long-awaited look at Milly Alcock’s Kara Zor-El, who’s introduced by getting drunk under the red sun (thanks to its power-dampening effects). The teaser sets up her reluctant team-up with traveler Ruthye Marye Knoll on her revenge quest all while Blondie’s “Call Me” setting the vibe. We also got to see everyone’s favorite superpup of Krypto the superdog and Jason Momoa’s Lobo. With its June 26th, release on the horizon, the film marks Supergirl’s first solo movie since 1984 and a bold new cornerstone of the DCU under James Gunn’s leadership. Milly’s Supergirl previously made an appearance in the “Superman” film with David Corenswet as the man of steel and her cousin as well as a gag appearance in season two of “Peacemaker.” Check out the trailer below...
