Luke Combs promised he had something brewing to help those most affected by Hurricane Helene. Yesterday we found out what Luke had in mind. Luke, along with follow North Carolinian Eric Church, Billy Strings and James Taylor will be part of "Concert For Carolina" on Saturday, October 26th. The show will benefit victims of Helene by giving 100-percent of the moneys raised to the relief effort. The concert will be hosted by ESPN's Marty Smith and Barstool Sports' Caleb Pressley, and will be held at Bank Of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina. More acts are expected to be added in the next few weeks. Tickets for the show will go on sale this Thursday, October 10th at 10 a.m. ET. More information is available at www.concertforcarolina.com.
Ella Langley's career continues to gain momentum. She's got her first hit song on the radio, is on tour with Riley Green, and is being talked about as "the Next Big Thing." What she hasn't had is a viral moment. Check that box: she just posted a touching acoustic version of Willie Nelson's "Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain" that is getting attention even beyond her circle of followers and fans. "This was one of my grandpas favorite songs to play and sing, and one of the first songs I learned 💙" she captioned the low-key video. If this is how 2024's ending, 2025 may be HER year. Teenagers, traditionally, don't like to listen to their parents. Luke Bryan is finding that out in more ways than one. On "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," Luke complained that his two teen sons Bo and Tate hear the songs he's working on, and that's all they wanna hear. Luke's goal is to have his music end up on their playlists. "You know, I’m at home with my boys and they’re hearing the songs," Bryan said. "My goal is to try to enter into their daily playlist on their phones." So what are they listening to, if it's not Dad? "They have these little speakers on their little side-by-sides," he explained.
