If anyone is tailor-made to launch a beauty line, it's Dolly Parton. The only questions is: what took so long? Yesterday, Dolly offered up the clearest indicator yet that she was ready to dive into the cosmetics side of things. Alongside of a picture of Dolly in her dressing room, she wrote, "I feel glamorous on the inside, so I want to look like it on the outside… something is coming @dollybeauty 💄" Dolly had teased before that she was thinking of branching out in this direction, and now we have a little more info. In an interview with "WWD," Dolly shared a little more about the move, saying that her first line of products, "Dolly Beauty’s Heaven’s Kiss lipstick," will come in four shades and go for $20 each, available online starting on August 22nd. It's an honor long overdue. Tracy Lawrence, who totally owned the country charts in the 90s with 20 Top Ten hits and 7#1's in the decade, has been inducted into the Texas Country Music Hall Of Fame. He was welcomed to the hall this past weekend alongside legends Roy Orbison and The Mandrell Sisters. From the stage, Lawrence said, "I’m so honored. For those who don’t know, I was born in Atlanta, Texas. I appreciate your graciousness and hospitality of everyone here in Carthage, it’s been such a great day for us. It’s not really a job, it’s a lifestyle. I love it. I still love it as much as I ever did." See clips from the induction ceremony below...
