It's an odd pairing on the surface, but good causes can occasionally make for strange bedfellows. Carrie Underwood and Papa Roach are teaming up for a newly recorded version of the Roach hit "Leave a Light On (Talk Away the Dark)." The cause? Suicide prevention. Papa Roach and Underwood both announced the new collaboration yesterday, with Roach saying "We’re continuing the mission to raise awareness for suicide prevention and the @afspnational's Talk Away The Dark campaign, now with the incredible Carrie Underwood by our side." The song drops today. See the announcement below...
Brad Paisley is one of the country artists that have embraced Post Malone as a brother; he's played with him live, and appears on Posty's upcoming country album "F-1 Trillion." Apparently they've also become good friends, which may be why Brad was chosen to extend a special invitation to the pop star-turned country artist. In a Tik Tok video, Paisley spoke directly to Malone. "Hey Post, Brad here. So, what I’m about to ask is going to mean a lot to you, I think. Knowing you and knowing the respect you have for country music and this journey you’re embarking on...Would you like to play the Opry?" Paisley added. "Come play it with me in August. Total invite and it’s going to be the first of many appearances, I think, from you. Come experience what it’s like to play the show that started it all. You and I can jam together. A lot of your friends will be there. We’re going to have a blast." Here's hoping it happens, and hoping we get to see and hear it. See Brad's video below...
