Unfortunate news from Mavericks lead singer Raul Malo. He posted a video clip on the band's Instagram account to inform fans that after multiple doctor's visits, two cancerous spots were found. The frontman went on to say he would begin therapy next week. Malo turned the message into a plea for fans to pay attention to their own health, saying "Go see a doctor. Be proactive in your health. It'll help fight whatever ails you. Stay healthy, take care of yourselves and I'll see you out on the road." See Malo's message to the fans below...
Lainey Wilson is one of the select few country artists chosen by the Rolling Stones to open for them on their "Hackney Diamonds" tour, and if that wasn't a career moment in itself, duetting with Mick Jagger definitely made it a night Lainey will remember for the rest of her life. Sunday in Chicago, the Stones rocked the house - and at one point in their show broke out their country-esque classic "Dead Flowers" - so if you're playing a country song, you bring out a country artist to help out, which Lainey was happy to do. This is the second time during their tour that the Stones invited an opening act to sing "Dead Flowers" with them. At their June 3rd concert in Orlando, Florida, country artist Tyler Childers hit the stage with the band to play the song. See Lainey Wilson and the Rolling Stones perform "Dead Flowers" below...
