The Hollywood Walk of Fame has announced the Class of 2025 and it includes George Strait as well as Keith Urban. They're among the 36 famous celebrities being added for achievements in movies, TV, radio, and more. People who are selected to get a star by The Hollywood Chamber’s Board of Directors get up to two years to choose when their official ceremony will take place. “Each honoree truly embodies the essence of excellence in their respective fields. The committee and I cannot wait to see our honorees becoming part of this world-famous walkway!” shared Peter Roth, Chairman of the Walk of Fame Selection Committee, in a statement.
Thomas Rhett has announced a four-night residency in Las Vegas set for December 6th, 7th, 13th, and 14th at Fontainebleau Las Vegas during National Finals Rodeo week. He expressed his excitement promising a unique experience for fans. Pre-sales for tickets are happening now, with the general on-sale starting on Friday. The residency follows the release of his upcoming album, "About A Woman," on August 23rd.
Chris Stapleton is one of the many artists appearing on the tribute album "Petty Country: A Country Music Celebration Of Tom Petty," which came out Friday. While some of the artists may just be there to be a part of a high-profile project, Stapleton is there out of respect for the late rock legend. On "CBS Mornings," Chris explained the admiration he has for Tom Petty the songwriter. "There are few songwriters I appreciate more than Tom...Tom could always write things so lyrically, so simply, but in ways that were impactful...and I always felt like that's the goal in songwriting...and for me, as a listener, that's what Tom always did."
