In case you missed it...
Shania Twain is set to perform at the legendary Glastonbury festival, and she calls the invitation a "wow moment" in her career. Shania plans to sing all her classic hits during the performance, aiming to make the experience familiar and fun for fans. “It’s a wow. A real wow moment in my career. It’s such a one-of-a-kind. The closer it comes, the more everybody tells me about it in their own individual stories and experiences,” said Twain. The singer sees Glastonbury as more than just a music festival, describing it as a community gathering that “brings people together.” Shania will play on Sunday (June 30) at 3:45 Glastonbury time.
Shaboozey knows that if you have a big hit song centered around bars and drinking, well, you gotta represent. The singer was performing at the nightclub E11VEN in Miami and, true to the song's whiskey-oriented lyrics, bought a round for the house - that's 111 shots of Jack Daniels. Apparently Shaboozey kept the party going til past 5am, so everybody at the bar was getting tipsy. See a video of the goings-on here.
We're still waiting for that full-on Kelly Clarkson album. Not sure what the hold up is; she obviously has a deep love for the genre, often performing stellar country covers on "The Kelly Clarkson Show" as part of "Kellyoke." Yesterday, the singer/host dipped back to the 90s to perform a live rendition of John Michael Montgomery's "Sold (The Grundy County Auction Song)" - and, not to be disrespectful to JMM, but Kelly made that thing her own. Check out Kelly's performance below...
