In case you missed it...
Shania Twain is known for frequently changing her hair color, going from brunette to blonde to hot pink and a dozen others. But perhaps as a nod to her age - she's now 58 - for the first time, she's rocking white hair on stage. After her return to Vegas to kick off her new residency, the singer posted photos of the evening to Instagram, telling fans and followers: "I’m waking up dreaming after a SOLD OUT weekend in Vegas ❤️🔥🤩 Thank you all for coming out to party with me for the opening of my Come On Over - All The Hits residency! I loved seeing so many familiar faces in the crowd!! 🥰" At one point during the concert, Shania took off her hat to reveal her white hair had dark roots, showing that the hair color wasn't a result of age but was in fact a style choice. Either way, it works for Shania. See the pics below.
Dolly Parton's next album is a family affair, exploring her East Tennessee roots - but there's more. The album, which could feature up to 40 songs, will spotlight the legacy of the Parton family and her mother’s family, the Owens, by tracing the family's journey from the UK in the 1600s to their home in East Tennessee’s Great Smoky Mountains. The album will feature several members of Parton’s immediate and extended family, and will also include the voices of some of her family members who have passed on. In addition, a four-part docuseries will include interviews with several of Parton’s family members, as well as concert performances filmed at Knoxville’s historic Bijou Theater, featuring Parton and other family members featured on the record. The entire project, "Dolly Parton & Family: Smoky Mountain DNA – Family, Faith & Fables" comes out November 15th.
