How'd you spend your weekend? Mowing the lawn, taking the kids to the beach? Garth Brooks flew to Rome and played the Vatican. He was a guest at the global conference "World Meeting on Human Fraternity" and was invited to play for the 350 attendees, many of whom were Nobel Peace Prize winners, scientists, economic experts, social activists, doctors and athletes. This was the second annual discussion focused on promoting human fraternity and peace in fields like environment, education, business, agriculture and health. The conference attendees, Garth included, had an audience with Pope Francis on Saturday, and the country singer closed out the conference with an acoustic performance that included such songs as "The River," "Amazing Grace," and "The Change." We're assuming mowing the lawn could wait a few days until Garth got back.
