In case you missed it...
We told you a few days ago that Jo Dee Messina was readying her first ever show at the Grand Ole Opry. At the time it seemed surprising, but we've since learned that she's not the only big star that somehow has a gaping hole in their country music career where the Ryman Auditorium should be. Terri Clark - another 90's country icon - has never headlined at "The Mother Church." She's played there - but never headlined, even at the peak of her career. That's finally about to change. Thursday, August 29th, Terri checks that box off her career "to do" list. Tickets for her first-ever headlining appearance at the Ryman go on sale today at 10 am. Of the show, Clark says, "We’ll have a few surprises and will be pulling out all the stops to ensure this is a night to remember for everyone – no matter if you’re on the stage or sitting in the pews under the glow of the stained glass."
There's a new Elvis Presley exhibit at the Ryman Auditorium. The "From Memphis to the Ryman" exhibit marks the 70th anniversary of Elvis' performance at the iconic venue. It includes unique artifacts, like the 1954 contract between Elvis and Sun Records, as well as The King's royal blue suit. Old Dominion's Matthew Ramsey is the narrator.
