Chayce Beckham has broken the American Idol curse with his first number-one hit song, "23," which has topped the country radio charts. Luke Bryan, Beckham's mentor and American Idol judge, expressed his excitement and pride for Beckham's success. "To get to know him and how good of a person he is, he's just a good dude," the megastar says. "And to think that he wrote '23' by himself a couple years ago, and even from American Idol, winning that, to now ... I know he's been celebrating probably the same way that I celebrated." Beckham, who won Season 19 of American Idol, has quickly risen to stardom in mainstream country music. Despite his newfound success, Beckham remains humble and credits his grandmother and early influences for his love of classic country music.
Fleetwood Mac's "Dreams" is considered by many to be pop music perfection. The 1977 hit was the legendary band's only #1 pop hit, but Kacey Musgraves tackled the song without fear, and if she didn't equal the Mac's performance, she certainly came within arm's reach.
