In case you missed it...
At first glance, it doesn't make much sense, but remember that Keith Urban has had pop hits as well as country hits, and Snoop Dogg has done several collabs with country stars, including Willie Nelson, Billy Ray Cyrus and Brad Paisley. So the upcoming collaboration featuring Urban and Snoop may not be that odd after all. Their song, "Let It Roll," will be the lead single from "The Garfield Movie" soundtrack and will drop Friday. The full soundtrack album comes out May 17th.
Sometimes country music runs through multiple generations. Hank Williams and Hank Williams Jr., Mel and Pam Tillis, George and Lorrie Morgan, Linda Davis and daughter Hillary Scott of Lady A are just a few examples. And then there's Rhett Akins and his son. No, not Thomas Rhett; the other son. Recently, Rhett was playing the Grand Ole Opry when he brought his singing son on stage with him. Not the superstar Thomas Rhett, but Rhett's four-year-old son Brody James. And musical talent must really run in that family, because Brody handled the spotlight like a pro. While a proud dad stood behind him, young Brody belted out "Jesus Loves Me" and the crowd, of course, went wild. Seems like another talented Akins will be making musical waves in the not too distant future. Check out Brody James' performance at the Grand Ole Opry below...
