It's Nashville - and it's Garth Brooks' new bar, so you never know who you'll see there on any given night. Over the weekend, you got two for the price of one as guest bartenders at "Friends In Low Places Bar & Honky Tonk" - and one of them really stood out. In town for a dj gig, Shaquille O'Neal stopped by Garth's and slid behind the bar to do a little guest bartending alongside Garth's wife, Trisha Yearwood. No matter where you were in the crowded venue, you couldn't miss Shaq - the man stands 7'1", after all. Wonder if anyone asked the NBA legend for a "tallboy." Outlaw country star Koe Wetzel is announcing an expansive global tour. His 46-date headlining Damn Near Normal World Tour launches on July 27th in his home state of Texas. It hits about three-dozen U.S. cities, including Nashville, Indianapolis, and Pittsburgh, before heading overseas to the U.K. Tickets go on sale this Friday. (We'll see him at the Mississippi Valley Fair in Davenport this summer!)
Drew Baldridge's current hit, "She's Somebody's Daughter," is NOT new. The song was originally released in 2019 and went nowhere. Then in 2021, the song went viral on TikTok and in 2022, Drew released a new video for the song containing footage of his wedding to wife Katherine. The song now has over 500-million social media impressions and streams and is finally breaking through on country radio, sitting at #38 on the latest airplay chart. Not bad for a song that disappeared without a trace five years ago. (We'll see him at the Muscatine County Fair this summer with Tracy Lawrence!)
