In case you missed it...
While the weekend of April 7th is a big weekend for both CMT and country music in general, the network has a lot more planned than just the 2024 CMT Country Music Awards. To keep country music fans locked in all weekend long, CMT has lined up a slew of programming starting Friday, April 5th. A New "CMT Storytellers" featuring Little Big Town will air at 8pm ET. On Saturday, April 6th at 9 am ET, a special "CMT Hot 20 Countdown" will air featuring a look at this year’s CMT Music Awards nominees. "Hot 20" will be on the scene, broadcasting from Austin’s Moody Center, featuring last-minute rehearsals and interviews with all the big nominees including Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson, Bailey Zimmerman, Jason Aldean and Kelsea Ballerini. Later that night at 8pm ET, Nickelback joins Hardy for a brand new episode of "CMT Crossroads." Then on Sunday, the "CMT Red Carpet Special" goes live at 7pm ET welcoming the stars as they arrive at the awards show, to be followed by the 2024 "CMT Music Awards" which airs at 8pm ET. Might as well just put your TV on CMT Friday evening and leave it there.
Nate Smith has chosen the path of a country music performer, but he's got a dep love for 90s and 2000s rock that he's shown off on his socials quite frequently. The latest example? Smith's take on the Nirvana classic "Heart-Shaped Box." Nate, if that country thing doesn't work out...Check out Nate's cover of "Heart-Shaped Box" below...And hopefully, we'll hear it LIVE when Nate hits the Clinton riverfront this summer for Tailgate N' Tallboys!
