In case you missed it...

The "Barbie" craze continues, and now there are real-life female icons being represented in doll form. Shania Twain is one of a new wave of icon-based Barbie dolls. The country legend has been named one of Mattel's "Barbie Role Models." The singer said, "I applaud Barbie for encouraging girls to create their own narratives and I’m honored to serve as a storyteller and role model during their 65th anniversary year. Dreaming is wonderful, but being able to put those dreams into action is a crucial step that Barbie helps girls visualize,” she adds. The Shania version of Barbie sports the floor-length black leather jacket and top hat she wore in her "Man! I Feel Like A Woman!" video, but with a nod to present-day Shania, as the doll sports the bright pink hair that Twain first started rocking during her 2023 "Queen Of Me" tour. Kacey Musgraves will be appearing on "Sunday Today" this coming Sunday with Willie Geist and one of the topics under discussion will be her GRAMMY-winning duet with Zach Bryan, "I Remember Everything." Apparently Kacey was pressed into service while sick with strep throat. In a preview of the sit-down, Kacey explained, "I got asked if I wanted to do the song, and of course, I was like, 'I'm down,' but I wasn't feeling well. Like my throat was hurting. I had just gone on like this trip. And they were like, 'Well, we kind of have a deadline. Like, if you want to be on this song you kind of got to get it in by like, this day.'" Kacey felt she couldn't miss the opportunity, performed her part, and immediately went to the doctor where she was diagnosed with strep throat. The song scored big on the GRAMMYs, winning for Best Country Duo/Group Performance - Zach's first GRAMMY ever, and Kacey's seventh. See the preview clip for her interview on "Sunday Today" below...
