Just last week she became the first Black woman to top the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart as well, with “Texas Hold ‘Em.” Beyonce’s nine number one hits on the Billboard Hot 100 are below:

  • “Perfect” (Ed Sheeran duet with Beyoncé)

Music fans know: concerts are getting more and more expensive. And fans are letting artists know that ticket prices are causing them to think twice before dropping down big coin on tickets to see their favorite stars. Two acts that recently announced new tours - and heard from the fans - are Jelly Roll and Dan + Shay. And both artists responded to their fan base. Jelly Roll posted on Saturday. "I want to take a moment to give y’all the facts as I know them to be,” he wrote. With his "Beautifully Broken" tour announced last week, fans were quick to try to snap up tickets - and ran into some prices higher than what they expected. Jelly spoke to that, saying "Some people have said they already purchased tickets from websites like Stubhub and other 3rd party ticketing websites. If you did, you purchased tickets that haven’t been released yet and paid way more than you could’ve gotten them for at pre-sale," he explained. "Ticket prices start at $39.50 I want to keep prices affordable and I want y’all to come enjoy a Jelly Roll show, whether it’s your first time or 100th time - thank y’all! I know what you go through to get the tickets, a babysitter, a ride to the venue, pay for parking, get a hotel room, buy merch - it all adds up and it’s not always easy,” he pointed out. "I see you and appreciate y’all, I will always keep tickets affordable for my fans." He urged fans to be ready on Tuesday (today) when the presale begins before further elaborating on the inflated ticket prices from third-party sellers. "I want y’all to know I’m not charging $3,500 per ticket for floor seats. It’s the scalpers and 3rd party resellers. The only way to truly stop this is to not buy the tickets from those websites," he wrote and later added, "I’ll never steer you wrong." As for Dan + Shay, who just extended their run of shows on the "Heartbreak On The Map" tour, they posted a hand-written letter of appreciation to fans that touched on the subject of ticket prices. While not addressing it as specifically as Jelly did, they did acknowledge that they recognize the sacrifice fans make when they lay their money down for concert tickets. "It’s not lost on us how expensive it is to exist in the world these days, and the fact that so many of y’all decided to spend your hard-earned money to buy a ticket to see us play music is truly humbling," they shared. "Just know that we are more grateful than we could ever put into words."
