With 27,000 sales, his "Don’t Let the Old Man In" was his best-selling song that week, ranking second on the all-genre list, behind Tracy Chapman's "Fast Car." The Digital Song Sales chart featured eight Toby songs, including "Don’t Let the Old Man In," "Should Have Been a Cowboy," and "Courtesy of the Red, White, & Blue (The Angry American)," "How Do You Like Me?" How is this just happening now? Vince Gill has invited T. Graham Brown to join the Grand Ole Opry. Brown owned the latter half of the 80s, scoring ten Top Ten country hits, including three #1's. After Vince made his invitation, Graham appeared stunned and got emotional, noting that the achievement was something he'd wanted for quite some time and was "the greatest thing." "I'm so proud of the Opry. I'm just so proud to be there every time. I've never taken it for granted. It's just amazing." No date for Brown's induction has been set yet.
Can he get back from Australia in time? Garth Brooks has the perfect idea to ramp up the already ramped-up grand opening of his Friends In Low Places Bar and Honky Tonk: Travis Kelce. The full honky-tonk will open to the public on March 7th. Garth jokingly invited Travis to join the party, offering to book him to perform "Friends in Low Places." "Big man, I'm just telling you this: I will be at the grand opening if you're there," said Brooks. He even offered to send a private plane to bring Travis (and 10 of his closest friends) to Nashville. "You can come by yourself or bring your brother or your gang, whatever you want to do. The plane holds 11, just remember that," Brooks continued. "So yes, I'll be happy to send this invite out to you if you want to try a little 'Friends in Low Places' in Friends in Low Places."
