"9 PM, I’m playing a 40-minute set at Sagebrush in Austin, Texas. First 100 people to show up; first come, first serve. I love you guys; thank you so much. Try to get a ride!” Imagine the rush to get there. Once there, not only did Zach play his show to an enthusiastic crowd, but the first 100 people? Got their beers paid for by the performer himself. Jelly Roll has a place in his heart for the men and women behind bars. He's visited them, sung for them, spoke to them and inspired them with his own story of redemption. In Flint, Michigan recently, Jelly did one of his prison visits but also made a special moment for one particular inmate. The inmate, who had just graduated the jail's I.G.N.I.T.E.
