The couple issued a joint statement announcing the breakup, saying, “Our mutual respect for one another remains. We wish each other the best and will always appreciate our time together.” They worked hard at keeping their relationship private, and they’re doing the same for their breakup, which means that there aren’t any details on what led to the split.
It was a big year on Google for Jason Aldean. The search giant released its annual “Year In Search” recap of 2023, and Aldean wound up on the top of two lists for the year. Aldean was the most-googled musician and had the most-googled song of the year, and that’s out of all genres, not just country music. A lot of the search attention was due to “Try That in a Small Town” and its video, with people searching to find out more about both. Oliver Anthony was the third-most searched musician on Google, with his song “Rich Men North of Richmond” landing in second place on the songs list behind Aldean’s hit.
The “New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash” was a showstopper for the year 2023 on CBS, but one performance is catching some heat. Blake Shelton and Trace Adkins reunited on the show and performed some of their classics like “Hillbilly Bone.” The problem is the word “Live” in the name of the CBS show, because Shelton hit the stage in Oklahoma just a few minutes after the televised performance that was supposedly live in Nashville. Social media lit up with people calling Shelton out, with one person posting on X, “He must have one fast a** tour bus!” On the bright side, he got great reviews for his actual live set in Oklahoma, where he rang in 2024 with “Goodbye Time.”
