Frankie “Christmas” Bianco, 55, loves the season so much that he transforms his one-bedroom apartment on the Lower East Side into a full-on Christmas wonderland…from Labor Day until the following April. Bianco goes all out, stringing 13-thousand bulbs on 12 Christmas trees before leaving them up for the next eight months. The holiday hero says he spent more than 200 hours stringing up lights in his unit…But it’s not just lights. Bianco also adorns the walls with stickers of gingerbread men and candy canes, as well as festooning the shelves with snowmen. So, why does he do it? Bianco explains, “All I ever want for Christmas is to spread a little joy into the world.”
