Dolly Parton is at the age most people consider retiring - but not Dolly. She has a new album out next month ("Rockstar"), she has a new book out next week ("Behind the Seams: My Life in Rhinestones") and on top of that, the reigning Queen of Country is starting up her own weekly show on Apple Music. Titled "What Would Dolly Do?", the show features Dolly and co-host Kelleigh Bannen talking all things Dolly, including stories, songs and the wisdom she's accumulated over her legendary life. The show will air every Wednesday at 8p ET starting October 25 on Apple Music. Check out the "Today" show's piece on the show below...
Chris Stapleton is known for his gruff, powerful, soulful voice - but that voice is going to have to be silenced for a little while as the singer rests and recuperates from a battle with bronchitis and laryngitis. Stapleton broke the bad news on his socials. "To all my friends in Corpus Christi, Houston, and Lafayette, I am very sorry to let you all know that I am unable to perform this weekend’s shows. I have bronchitis and laryngitis, and on doctor’s orders, am on vocal rest through the weekend in order to heal. I’m grateful for your patience and understanding, and hope to see you all in November." This weekend’s shows in Texas and Louisiana will be rescheduled to later dates, and all tickets for the original shows will be honored for the postponed shows. Refunds will also be available for those that can’t make the rescheduled November shows.
