- Be upfront about your medical history
- Wear undergarments that don’t cover the areas you want to work on
- Take a shower before your appointment
- Don’t be late
- Don’t book a massage without understanding what it is. You don’t want surprises!
- Communicate with your massage therapist. Does something hurt or is one area off limits? Share it
- Try not to show up stressed
