Want longer legs? Grab a belly button. A beauty trend has taken off in China involving an optical illusion to make your legs look lankier. Many women are doing this by reportedly buying belly button stickers and placing them above their actual button in the hopes that it stretches out their appearance. Young women are paying $0.70 to $1.40 for sheets of temporary tattoos designed that look like navels. Many of them then run to social media platforms like Xiaohongshu to show the best way to wear the decals so it doesn’t look like they have (gasp) two belly buttons. Other reasons people are buying these dimpled decorations? Some do it when they think they’re original belly button isn’t “pretty” enough.
