Brothers Osborne is the newest recipient of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital's "Angels Among Us Award." It's presented annually to a country act that supports the hospital's life-saving mission. The boys have been contributing to St. Jude since touring its Memphis facility in 2014. They’ll receive their award as part of the 2023 Country Cares for St. Jude Kids weekend in October.
Chris Janson was mid-show at the Grand Ole Opry Tuesday night when he experienced a career first, which he posted on Instagram. "Had a super weird experience on the Opry stage Tuesday night! Definitely caught me off guard. Everyone in the audience thanks for sticking with me. Somehow she gracefully made it right past security! First time for everything …I love my fans so I signed it." In the video to the right, you can see Chris and his band playing, while off to the side of the stage a woman casually strolls up to the singer holding a sign. And no one tried to stop her! Chris was graceful about the whole thing, but you can bet there'll be a meeting of venue security to review procedures. See the incident below...
