“C’mon Barbie, let’s go…pay our respects?” Funeral homes are now offering hot pink Barbie-themed coffins for fans of the doll and the movie, which some of them say “represents the spark and energy of those unforgettable moments they lived.” In case you’re wondering who would want a hot pink coffin, at least one funeral home in El Salvador that launched hot pink coffins last year and offered a 30% discount when the “Barbie” movie debuted, says “We even ran out of stock.” One person is reported to have said “Death in plastic, it’s fantastic."
