In case you missed it...

Fans that went to the Grand Ole Opry Saturday night to see an evening of country music got a lot more than that from Craig Morgan. The country star and 17-year US Army vet not only performed - but also used the occasion to re-enlist in the US Army Reserve. His swearing in was performed on the stage of the Opry by General Andrew Poppas, Commander of the U.S. Army Forces Command who said, "No matter who you are or where you’re from, service in the United States Army is a unique, life-changing honor. Every Soldier who enters the Army has the opportunity to become the best version of themselves, and Staff Sgt. Morgan is no exception. I look forward to seeing what he accomplishes and how he impacts other Soldiers around the Army.” Craig himself said, "I’m excited to once again serve my country and be all I can be in hopes of encouraging others to be a part of something greater than ourselves. I love being an artist but I consider it a true privilege and honor to work with what I believe are the greatest of Americans, my fellow soldiers. God Bless America. Go Army." So what does this mean for Craig's other career as a country music star? As a reservist, his Army stint will be part-time. Craig still gets to keep his full-time country music career going, which is a good thing - since he's already announced his "God, Family and Country" tour for this fall. Check out the video below...

When people talk about the "G.O.A.T" - of anything (the "greatest of all time"), they often ask the hypothetical question, "Who would be on your 'Mt. Rushmore?'" - and the conversation turns to a fictional monument with the four greatest figures in whatever the topic of discussion is. Country great Tracy Lawrence could be considered to be on anyone's Mt. Rushmore for "90's Country Artists," but if you asked him who were his four greatest country musicians of all time - all he'd have to do is show you his forearm.  Tracy sat down with tattoo artist Travis Harper and get the fictional monument inked on his forearm - and he posted the end results to his Instagram. "We're here with my buddy Travis Harper...he's doing my country music 'Mt. Rushmore' - George StraitGeorge JonesKeith Whitley and Merle Haggard," he explains while showing off the impressive tattoo. The comments section blew up with mentions of legends that weren't on Tracy's arm: Johnny CashWaylon Jennings, Conway Twitty and more - but a man's forearm is only so long. Check out the near-finished product below...
