Rare video of pyjama sharks (unofficially known as "alien" sharks) has been captured off the coast of South Africa. What makes these predators different from other sharks is that they “death roll” their prey like crocodiles do instead of “sawing” with their teeth like other sharks. How did we get this rare footage? Wildlife biologist Forrest Galante spotted the striped sharks and thought they were fighting when they were actually mating. Galante told Live Science he believes he and his camera operator are the first ones to record pyjama sharks mating. So, what happens next? After the female becomes pregnant, she’ll lay a fertilized egg on the seafloor and about six months later a shark will emerge.
