In case you missed it...

Travis Tritt's country music career started back in the late 80's - but even now, 30+ years later, he's still achieving career firsts. This week the country legend announced that he was putting out his very first gospel album. Titled "Country Chapel," the album, Tritt said in a Tweet via Gaither Music, was a long time coming. "I've wanted to make this album for thirty years. I hope and pray that everyone who hears it will be inspired and encouraged through Jesus Christ. He loves us all so much!" The ten track album includes a cover of the Kris Kristofferson classic, "Why Me." The first track ("When God Dips His Love In My Heart") drops today, and pre-sale begins today as well, with the full album out September 15th.

Travis Tritt's "Country Chapel" Track List

  1. When God Dips His Love In My Heart
  2. Like The Father Loves His Son
  3. Mama Used To Pray For Me
  4. In the Valley (He Restoreth My Soul)
  5. Uncloudy Day
  6. Wayfaring Stranger
  7. Nobody’s Fault But Mine
  8. The Baptism Of Jesse Taylor
  9. Why Me
  10. Little Country Chapel

Megan Moroney can check another box on her career checklist. The country newcomer sat down with CMT and a couple bandmates to do an acoustic set for the network's "Campfire Sessions." Ordinarily filmed outside around the titular campfire, rain forced the musicians inside - where they sat beside a fireplace (because for "Campfire Sessions," you gotta have a fire) and played four of Megan's songs acoustically: "Tennessee Orange," "Sleep On My Side," "Girl In The Mirror" and her new single, "I'm Not Pretty." The episode is out now - which you can see below...
