In case you missed it...

Country stars are taking a stand against rowdy concert-goers - people who ruin the good time for those around them, acting drunk, getting into fights. We recently told you about instances where Cody Johnson and Morgan Wallen called out troublemakers, sometimes going so far as to have those that would act the fool kicked out of their shows. Add Chris and Morgane Stapleton to the list of country artists-slash-bouncers. In a show in Massachusetts, fans up front near the stage started causing a ruckus - and first Morgane and then Chris called them out, stopping the show to deal with the troublemakers. Video shows Chris stopping the show as he surveyed the scene, with his wife Morgane pointing out the troublemakers. “This is silly,” the singer says, before her husband drops the hammer. "These people paid good money to have a good time. You did too. If this is what you think is a good time, get the hell out." A video taken immediately after shows security escorting the bad apple from the venue. Well played, Chris.

Cody Johnson has been talking a lot about his next step when it comes to new music and who he'd like to work with. He's already excited he was able to grab Carrie Underwood for an upcoming duet - but is there anyone else he has on his radar to collaborate with? Surprisingly, the name "Jelly Roll" came up - and Cody's all about it. While Jelly has a felony conviction in his past and has spent years behind bars, Cody worked as a prison guard - but that's no problem for Cody. "Respect is mutual, and real recognizes real. So absolutely, we’ve talked about working together," Johnson said backstage at CMA Fest. "You guys may not look at me and realize this, but I have a pretty jaded past as well. I’ve always said there was a time in my life where I had to make a decision, and that decision was either to chase this dream professionally with a good mindset. There’s a few mistakes that I’ve made in my life - there’s a few decisions I’ve made in my life where I could have wound up here, or I very well could have wound up in jail." Johnson said the men relate to each other and that it could be an "opposites attract kind of thing.” While there's no real indication of whether this is wishful thinking or a done deal, he's already got 24 songs in the can for his upcoming double album, which will be titled "Leather." Just a note to Cody: 25 songs is better than 24, especially if you can get Jelly Roll on board.
