In case you missed it...

While she's familiar with the show, she's taking on a much bigger role. Reba McEntire has been confirmed as the judge who takes Blake Shelton's place in Season 24 of "The Voice!" Announced yesterday: Reba will take over Blake Shelton's chair as a judge/coach for what will now be "Team Reba" in the upcoming season of "The Voice." Reba isn't new to the show; she served as a mentor for Team Blake in the very first season of the singing competition, and returned in the most recent season as a "mega-mentor." Reba will join fellow judge/coaches Gwen StefaniNiall Horan and John Legend when the new season goes into production. "The Voice' Season 24 is set to premiere this fall and will air on Mondays (8/7c) and Tuesdays (9/8c). The show will also stream next day on Peacock. However, those who need their Blake fix can still catch what's left of Season 23 - the final two episodes air next Monday and Tuesday (May 22 and 23).

If at first you don’t succeed, try and try again. At least, that’s how Dolly Parton feels about one rock anthem. Blabbermouth says the country superstar recently admitted that her first attempt at recording “Stairway To Heaven” was a huge dud… to her husband. “Years ago, I did 'Stairway To Heaven' as a bluegrass, a gospel thing," confessed Parton. "And Carl, I played it to him and he said, 'I think that's a little more like 'Stairwell To Hell' than 'Stairway To Heaven''.” But the “9 To 5” singer- and prolific songwriter- didn’t let that stop her. On her new album, Dolly enlisted pop star Lizzo to help her do a more rocked-out version of the Led Zeppelin classic. Parton’s first rock album, “Rockstar,” is set to drop November 17th.
