Get ready for some sky-high dining. A space tourism company called Zephalto has its sights set on the borders of space for your next meal. The company is currently selling “pre-reservation tickets” for future trips in a pressurized capsule attached to a stratospheric balloon that ascends over 15 miles into the sky. In case you’re wondering, that’s about twice as high as the average plane flies. The trip will set you back around $131k, but you get dinner with your show. The 3-hour experience will include a Michelin-star dinner and flowing bottles of wine. Though the capsule won’t hit actual space, passengers will still get out-of-this-world views of Earth and surrounding stars, without the loss of gravity. Zephalto is hoping to get flights going by the end of 2024 or mid-2025.
