Glen Powell has been confirmed to jump from the sequel of an 80s classic to the sequel of a 90s classic. Screencrush reports the “Top Gun: Maverick” star has signed on to the long-rumored next chapter of the 1996 tornado film “Twister.” Steven Spielberg will return as producer, but OG star Helen Hunt is not expected to come back following the death of co-stars Bill Paxton and Philip Seymour Hoffman. “Where The Crawdads Sing” star Daisy Edgar Jones is also set to star in the film that’s due for a July 2024 release.
