In case you missed it...
Carly Pearce is celebrating - her "What He Didn't Do" just hit the top of the country charts, the fourth time she's reached #1 - and she's feeling incredibly grateful. Once she got the news, she jumped on Twitter to tweet out a message of gratitude to those that made it possible - the fans.
It seemed like a good PR idea at the time: video yourself buying your own album at a local music store. What could possibly go wrong? Luke Combs found out. On the advice of his "PR Guy," Luke goes into a local record store to buy a copy of his new album, "Gettin' Old" - when the guy behind the counter recognizes him. Not as the guy on the album cover, but the guy who dated his sister in high school and dumped her to date a teacher. Luke keeps telling the guy he's got it all wrong, when the sister walks in and things go from bad to a lot worse. Check out the video of the whole mess below. Of course, this never would have made it to the singer's socials if it had been legit - which it wasn't. The record store clerk was played by Caleb Pressley of "Barstool Sports" - and the whole thing was just a skit. Besides, Luke's picture is right there on the album cover - how would a record store employee screw that up?
