Kane Brown has just been announced as the co-host for the “2023 CMT Music Awards”. Brown joins another “KB”, with Kelsea Ballerini having been announced previously. The awards are country music’s only fan-voted awards show, and will air at 8pm EST on April 11th. Brown will be pulling double duty, as he will also perform during the event. His wife, Katelyn Brown (a third KB for the night!) will join him to perform their chart-topping hit single “Thank God.” If that weren’t enough, fans of Brown can jump to CBS right after at 9pm that night to catch him on “Fire Country.”
Jordan Davis has announced that yet again he and his wife Kristen are expecting a baby. This will be the couple’s third child. The couple revealed they don’t know the gender of the baby yet, and aren’t planning to share the information until their child is born. “We pushed the limits once more. We got another one coming in June. I gotta figure out how to not have kids in the summer because I’m usually pretty busy. I don’t know what I was thinking then but, you know I’m so excited,” Davis said in a statement. Jordan also shared the news on Instagram, jokingly singing “Next thing you know….she got knocked up.” Kristen joked that there is probably a better way he could tell his fans. “We’re pregnant. Again.” Jordan went on to say with a straight face.
Dierks Bentley released his 10th studio album today. “Gravel & Gold” has 14 tracks, including the hit songs “Gold” and “Cowboy Boots.” The album features Ashley McBryde and Billy Strings. Bentley says the album has diverse musical stylings, which is “a testament to the many strains of country music …cultivated in his career, from the arena shaker to the barroom weeper to the bluegrass fireballer.”
