The 2023 IHeartRadio Music Awards nominations are out! The annual awards show, now in its tenth year, is taking place on Monday, March 27th at The Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, and will celebrate the most-played artists and songs on iHeartRadio stations and the iHeartRadio app throughout 2022. Lizzo, Taylor Swift, and Harry Styles are the top nom-getters this time around, with the trio scoring eight noms each. Dua Lipa, Drake, and Jack Harlow were close on their heels, with six nominations each. This year's show will allow fans to vote for their favorite artists in categories including TikTok bop of the year, best lyrics, best fan army, best music video, the social star award, favorite documentary, favorite tour style, favorite tour photographer, favorite residency and favorite use of a sample. Producer of the Year and Songwriter of the Year nominees will be announced at a later date. Additional categories include Label of the Year and individual winners for Album of the Year in music’s biggest genres, including Pop, Country, Alternative, Rock, Dance, Hip-Hop, R&B, Latin and Regional Mexican formats.
Ahead of Old Dominion’s “No Bad Vibez Tour” the band has decided to inundate fans with brand new songs! The band released a four song collection this week, after initially only releasing the new song “Memory Lane” on Monday. “We’ve been working on so much new music, and the response to ‘Memory Lane’ has been so energizing that we decided we’re tired of sitting on it all!” says lead singer Matthew Ramsey. “We’re so excited to share three more songs heading into the ’No Bad Vibes Tour’ and the next chapter in our musical journey.” The band worked with Shane McAnally to produce the four-song surprise. The four songs are “Memory Lane”, “Ain’t Got A Worry”, “Freedom Like You”, and “Easier Said With Rum”. The band’s “No Bad Vibes Tour” kicks off later this month and will wrap in late June. Fans will have to start listening to these new songs ASAP to memorize them before their next concert.
