Funko announced the release of two exclusive collectible figures of Dolly Parton last night (one, two). The two vinyl figures show off her iconic looks, one from the "Glastonbury Festival" and the other from the "Blue Smoke Tour". The Funko figures feature Dolly's blonde wig & beauty mark as well. The figure is approximately 4.5 inches tall and comes in a box that is branded with Dolly's logo and a quote from her “If you don’t like the road you’re walking start paving another one.”
Brett Young found kindred spirits when he got together with Ashley Gorley, Jon Night and Jimmy Robbins to write his song, “You Didn’t.” It turns out that the quartet all had a “mutual love” for Boyz II men, and decided that they needed to honor that obsession by putting together a song that leaned into that influence! Young says that on a writers retreat with the Gorley, Night, and Robbins, it became clear the group all loved Boyz II men, and decided that they weren’t going to sleep until they made a song that had the “Boyz II Men kinda throwback vibe”. That particular night infused the group with a giddy energy, so much that Young Facetimed Wanya from Boyz II Men! “I was like, ‘Listen to this! This sounds like you.’ Totally doesn’t sound like him. It was me singing, but we just got so excited,” Young says. Young didn’t say if there would be more Boys II Men-style songs coming, or if this was the “End Of The Road.”
