Fans of Showtime’s ”George & Tammy” series will get a chance to hear more from series stars Jessica Chastain and Michael Shannon, with the release of ”George & Tammy (Original Series Soundtrack)” today. The 26-track album features iterations performed by Chastain and Shannon of songs made famous by Tammy Wynette and George Jones, including Wynette’s “Stand by Your Man” and “D-I-V-O-R-C-E,” as well as Jones’ “He Stopped Loving Her Today, and “The Race Is On,” and their duets including “Golden Ring.” The six-episode series "George & Tammy" centers on the sometimes tumultuous love story shared by Jones and Wynette. The couple wed on February 16th, 1969, and released their first album together, "We Go Together", in 1971. Over the course of their careers, Wynette and Jones would record eight more albums together. The pair divorced in 1975, and each went on to marry other people. Wynette died in 1998 at age 55, while Jones died in 2013 at age 81.

Keith Urban has made an incredible gift of $250k to four different Nashville charities just before Christmas. Urban donated the money to the Music Health Alliance, the Nashville Food Project, Thistle Farms, and Vanderbilt Breast Cancer Research. The Music Health Alliance, a nonprofit that provides medical resources to members of the music industry, received $100k, while the other three organizations were given $50k each. In a statement, Urban said, “I have a deep-seated respect and feeling for gratitude for the work that all of these organizations do to make people’s lives more manageable.”

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill know how to keep things interesting for their family. Tim has shared pictures on Instagram of a recent “Godfather” dinner theme night at their house, with McGraw, Hill, and their three daughters all dressed in costumes inspired by the mafia movie. “Love my family and all the craziness that comes with it,” McGraw said in the caption.
