Thomas Rhett is ready for Christmas and wants his fans to be too. The singer just dropped a new holiday EP, “Merry Christmas Y’all,” which features his take on four holiday classics. “I love everything about Christmas–there’s nothing like the holiday season,” Thomas shares. “I wanted to record some of the Christmas songs that my family and I enjoy every year. I hope this music gets everyone in the holiday spirit!” Check out the track list below and clips of the songs to the right.

You can now call Kenny Chesney doctor. The singer was awarded an honorary Doctorate of Human Letters from his alma marter, East Tennessee State University. “I am now a Doctor. Last night was so special. I would like to thank Dr. Brian Noland, the Board of Trustees, and the faculty and staff at East Tennessee State University for giving me an Honorary Doctorate,” he shares on Instagram. “I was also able to reconnect with the man who taught me how to play guitar when I was in college, Dr. Jack Tottle, and also spend some time with the current @ETSU bluegrass band. It felt so great to be back.” According to News Channel 11, Kenny’s appearance coincided with the 40th anniversary of the university's Bluegrass, Old-Time and Roots Music Studies program.
