Ashley McBryde just released her new guest-filled concept album “Lindeville” and now she’s announced plans to bring it to life. The singer will headline two shows at Nashville's Ryman auditorium, February 15th and 16th, with fans in for “an unforgettable celebration of Lindeville.” Like the album, the shows will feature a slew of Ashley’s good friends, including Brothers Osborne, Brandy Clark, Aaron Raitiere, Pillbox Patti, Caylee Hammack and Benjy Davis, with Brothers Osborne’s John Osborne taking on bandleader duties. As we told you, last week while Ashley was on “CBS This Morning” Garth Brooks asked her to become a member of the Grand Ole Opry. Well, with all that exciting news, folks may have missed some other more shocking revelations from her interview. As we told you, last year Ashley had to postpone some shows after being injured in a horse riding accident, and apparently it was much worse than anyone knew. "It was pretty bad," she shared. "We did kind of put out there that there had been an accident that had been a horse-specific wreck and that some shows were gonna have to be canceled. But we didn't even know the extent of my injuries until all the imaging came back a little while later." She adds, "Life saving measures were taken."
Scotty McCreery has been recognized for the work he’s done for St. Jude’s Research Hospital. The singer was just honored with the Randy Owen Angels Among Us Award, at the annual Country Cares Seminar. "It is a tremendous honor to receive the Angels Among Us Award from St. Jude,” Scotty shares. “The patients and families here have been an inspiration to me, just as I know they are to so many other country artists as well.”
