Shania Twain has joined the judging panel of a new UK talent competition. The singer announced on Instagram that she’ll be joining Adam Lambert, Beverly Knight and Jason Manford, along with host Olly Murs, on the series “Starstruck.” “Hi everyone. I am here in Las Vegas and I’m about to get on the stage to do a show. But I wanted to take a quick minute to say that I’m so excited about heading to the UK soon to join Starstruck panel,” she shared on social media. “It’s a real honor. I am such a fan of the other artists on the panel, the judges — Adam, Beverly and Jason — I love all of you,” adding, “I can’t wait to see all the amazing talent there, and all I can say is, let’s go ITV!” And it sounds like that’s not the only thing Shania has planned in the UK. The Sun reports she’s planning to play multiple shows in the UK next year to celebrate her 30-year career. “The tour is going to be massive. After 30 years, Shania is still one of the best performers around and she puts everything into her live shows,” a source claims. “She has had stellar reviews this year of her Las Vegas residency but this tour will be a new hit-packed concert with new songs mixed in,” adding that an announcement is expected “in the next few weeks.” It will mark Shania’s first UK shows in five years.
LeAnn Rimes is hitting the road for the holidays. The singer just announced dates for her “Joy: The Holiday Tour,” which kicks off December 2nd in Verona, New York. The trek, which includes a December 10th stop at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, will wrap December 18th in Airway Heights, Washington. Tickets for most shows go on sale Thursday.
