Kane Brown is headed to the MTV Video Music Awards. The singer is set to perform on the show later this month, making him the first male country artist to ever perform at the VMAs. Kane is expected to perform his brand new single “Grand,” which will be featured on his upcoming album “Different Man,” which drops September 9th. The first-ever country star to perform on the VMAs is Kacey Musgraves, who performed “star-crossed” on last year’s show. The 2022 VMAs will air August 28th live from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. But that’s not all…Kane has just been named Chief Flavor Officer for Dewey Crush canned crush cocktails. "Growing up in Northwest Georgia, I had never heard of an Orange Crush until I started spending time on the Chesapeake Bay with my wife, Katelyn and her brothers,” Kane says, noting “it quickly became my go-to summer beverage.” He adds, "Dewey Crush has been a hit with my friends at every stop on tour and is definitely my band's new favorite drink!"

The singer just shared the good news on Twitter, writing, "I got a callback for Wicked. I am in tears. What the hell. 💚😭.” "Wicked actress Kristen Chenoweth then commented, "You go baby!! Told ya you could do it!!! xoxooxo," to which Maren replied, "Stop my heart is going to explode. 💀💚
