Firefighters in Ridgeville, Ohio were shocked when they responded to a tree being struck by lightning.
The tree wasn’t burning on the outside as usual… but instead was on fire from the inside out! The the Ridgeville Township Volunteer Firefighter Department shared the story on Facebook and said "Lightning can do some crazy things and we had a tough time getting to every hot spot in this tree trunk.”
It turns out they had to get a tree service to cut the burning tree down so they could treat the hot spots.
