In case you missed it...
Has Taylor Swift finally found her happy ever after? Well, that’s what “The Sun” claims, with the tab reporting that she and boyfriend Joe Alwyn have gotten engaged. A source claims they’ve been engaged “for a few months,” noting, they’ve “only told their inner-inner circle — basically immediate family, and trusted, very old friends" who have been "sworn to secrecy." The insider says Joe has given Taylor a "beautiful ring" but she only wears it “behind closed doors.” “Taylor and Joe are incredibly happy, and very, very in love,” the source shares. “They want their love to stay away from the cameras as much as possible. This is just for them.” The insider adds, “if and when they do exchange vows” you won’t see the pics in magazines, noting, “It will be simple and elegant — like them.”
Garth Brooks fans can look forward to another edition of his “Anthology” series this year. In case you missed it, he recently told fans that "The Anthology II: The Next Five Years” is on track to come out in November. “We got the green light. We’re ready,” he said during “Inside Studio G.” “This thing is almost 300 pages with almost 280 something photographs in it, which is crazy.” The set is expected to feature plenty of previously unreleased songs, and will come with a box and six CDs. One of those songs is a duet with wife Trisha Yearwood on Bob Dylan’s “To Make You Feel My Love.” Garth notes, “This thing is gorgeous. It’s beautiful, so it’s in the anthology as well.”
Blake Shelton has at least one big regret about his career. The singer took to social media to share the track he really thought should have been a single, but never became one. “Back in the day I wanted this song to be a single so bad I put it on 2 different albums," he writes next to a clip of him performing the track “I Don’t Care. "We never got to it and I still regret it. Thought I’d dig it out for y'all.” “I Don’t Care” was featured on Blake’s 2007 album “Pure BS,” and then again on 2008’s “Startin Fires.” Check out his post below. ONE MORE THING! At least one person thinks he should finally release it. Good buddy Carson Daly commented on the post, “The Startin Fires version was better than the bs deluxe version IMO…but 2 things stick out- this acoustic version is killer & timing is everything.” He adds, “The story, lyrics & your voice hit home waaay more now than back then. Release it this way & see if 3rd time’s a charm.”
