In case you missed it...

Shania Twain was forced to cancel her Las Vegas residency earlier this week after she woke up feeling unwell. "I am under strict doctor's orders to rest and not sing," she explained ahead of her show Wednesday, noting she was "extremely disappointed" to cancel. She is scheduled to perform again tonight and tomorrow and she said she's "doing everything I can" to make that happen.

The Country Music Hall of Fame is set to celebrate the history of Los Angeles Country-Rock with a new exhibit opening this fall. “Western Edge: The Roots and Reverberations of Los Angeles Country-Rock,” will spotlight the close-knit communities of Los Angeles-based singers, songwriters and musicians from the 1960s-1980, who embraced the fusion known as “country rock.” The exhibit, opening September 30th, will feature such artists as Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, the Flying Burrito Brothers, Poco, Eagles, Emmylou Harris, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Linda Ronstadt and more. The Hall will also celebrate the exhibit with two opening weekend concerts. “Western Edge: Los Angeles Country-Rock in Concert” will take place September 30th featuring performers from such bands as Poco, Buffalo Springfield, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, the Byrds and more. Then on October 2nd will be a concert by the Desert Rose BandClick here for ticket info.
