Trace Adkins' Fox series finally has a premiere date. After getting pushed back from its initial January 30th premiere, the drama, “Monarch,” is now set to debut September 11th. Trace stars in the series alongside Susan Sarandon as the head of the first family of country music.
Darius Rucker held his 13th annual Darius & Friends benefit for St. Jude earlier this week, and he once again brought in the big bucks for the children’s hospital. Darius’ show at the Ryman Auditorium raised $516,000 for St. Jude, bringing his total raised over the years to more than $3 million.
Toby Keith’s annual Toby Keith & Friends Golf Classic took place last month in Oklahoma City and Norman, Oklahoma and it raised $1.4 million for charity. The event raises funds for OK Kids Korral, which provides free housing for families of children being treated at The Children’s Hospital at OU Medical Center. Toby’s annual event has now raised over $16 million.
