Carrie Underwood is celebrating the release of her album “Denim & Rhinestones” with the help of Amazon. She’ll be doing an exclusive live Amazon Music performance on June 9th from downtown Nashville's Bell Tower. Carrie’s very excited and shares "This album (out June 10) is so much fun and I've been looking forward to playing these songs live. I love that we'll get to do it with a global audience from such a cool setting." You can catch the performance on Twitch, Amazon Music, and Amazon Prime Video. It kicks off at 9 pm Eastern. It sounds like we’re in for a treat since the singer says the album doesn’t sound like anything she’s done before!
CMA Fest officially kicks off on June 9th, but one event will give fans a thrill early. The Folds of Honor Tennessee 2nd Annual Rock ‘N Jock Celebrity Softball Game is Monday. The lineup is stacked with Country talent who will also show off their fielding and hitting skills. Artists participating are HARDY, Ernest, Chris Lane, Jimmie Allen, Lee Brice, Jessie James Decker, Eric Decker, Mitchell Tenpenny, Koe Wetzel, Jameson Rodgers, Riley Green, Michael Ray, Andrew East, Alexandra Kay, Julia Cole, Jelly Roll, Hannah Cook, Shawn Johnson, Cortland Finnegan, Will Compton, Jason Crabb, Missy Franklin, Shawn Booth, and Tyler Braden. Riley Green and Julia Cole were last year’s MVP and will try to repeat the feat. If you’re going to be in Music City, you can buy tickets here.
