In case you missed it...
Garth Brooks brought his Stadium tour to Louisiana State University's Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge this past weekend, and it was more than just a little bit loud. Fans were understandably pumped as Garth sang along to the city's namesake song, "Calling Baton Rouge," and it was so loud with fans jumping around it actually registered as an earthquake. LSU’s seismograph actually captured the small tremor, only the second time that’s happened in over three decades. The last time Tiger Stadium was responsible for such an earthquake was in 1988 when fans cheered LSU beating Auburn University. As for noise levels, some fans noted that their Apple Watches claimed levels were at 95 decibels, warning them that "[just] 10 minutes at this level can cause temporary hearing loss."
Vince Gill has announced a very special Nashville residency. The singer is set to perform four nights at the Ryman Auditorium to help the venue celebrate its 130th anniversary. The shows, featuring special guest Wendy Moten, will go down August 4th to 7th, with tickets on sale Friday. “Of all the great concert halls in America and throughout the world, the Ryman is by far my favorite,” Vince shares. “I knew it was a unique venue the first time I set foot on the stage over 30 years ago. It was just me and an acoustic guitar and to this day that moment was like nothing I’ve ever experienced.”
